The National Academy Of Television Arts & Sciences has recently awarded an Emmy® to Allan Phillips. Outstanding achievement for individual excellence off camera: Music composition/ Arrangement for the PBS program Grannies on Safari, produced by The Art Explorers, Inc., and Brave New Pictures, Inc.
Allan just completed the music for a very exciting humanitarian project about climate change. The film was shot in Malawi, Africa.

Allan is mixing and mastering The Danny Green trio's second album, jammed-packed with jazz/brazilian/spanish fused into a fresh sound.
April 9th: Allan wrote and arranged the hit single "Bailarás." Featured on Grammy nominated folkloric ensamble Perú Negro's brand new album Zamba Malató. Production of Robert Incelli's new latin jazz album, featuring original songs arranged by Allan, Incelli and Oscar D'Leon. Among the guest will be Justo Almario, Joey D'Leon, Rene Camacho and others.
March: Writing and arranging music for the Children's Choir of Ghana as well as working on Native Vibe's new album.
February: Putting the final touches to Peter Pupping's new album "Sea Journey" Featuring William Wilson on guitar, Jeff Basile on bass, Roy Gonzales on percussion, Kevin Koch on drums and Allan guest stars on steel pans and keys.
January: Recently completed Bradley Leighton's latest album "Soul Collective." This album features the legendary Tom Scott on tenor and alto sax, Greg Adams on trumpet, Mic Gillette on trumpet and trombone, Tom Braxton on alto sax, Evan Marks on guitar and Paula Prothet on vocals among other amazing musicians.

June 2: June 2-Molina-Serrano and Allan Phillips into space! NASA Crew members of the Space Shuttle Discovery's Mission STS-124, commanded by Mark Kelly, USN, awoke to Molina-Serrano's song "Away from
Home" at 6:32 a.m. EDT on this third day of the shuttle flight. Today, the Discovery docks with the International Space Station. For the 14-day mission, each crew member chooses a wake-up song. Flight Engineer Greg Chamitoff, PhD, selected Jose's song for the honor, and he is flying with Jose's CD entitled "Only by Grace." Chamitoff will join the International Space Station Crew and remain on the ISS for the next 6 months.
